As you know, St. Joseph’s Church is the host food provider at the County Ploughing Match August 17-19. We have had excellent response to our need for volunteers. However, a few more volunteers are needed. Shuttle drivers will be needed from the church to the match site. If you are available to help shuttle volunteers, please call the office.
After every Mass on the weekend of August 7 and 8, plowing match volunteers are asked to pick up their instructions, schedule, t-shirt, etc. in the Parish hall. This information will help make for a smooth and successful Parish activity. FYI – almost 30 volunteers per day will represent our Parish.
Gleaners Food Bank expresses gratitude to St. Joseph’ parishioners who donate food items each week. So far in 2010 you have given over 3,000 kg to the food bank to help poor families. Please continue to bring food items for Gleaners all summer long. Thank you so much.
